This policy describes how Frank Niebauer, an independent voice teacher operating at Jackson Voice Studio, handles information belonging to students and prospective students.
What is collected
Name, phone number, email address, lesson scheduling history, payment records, and the content of text messages about lessons. Where the student is under 18, a parent or guardian's contact details are collected instead.
Why it is collected
To schedule lessons, send reminders and lesson summaries, discuss account balances, and answer questions about lessons.
Text messages
Students who provide a mobile number and agree to receive text messages will receive messages about scheduling, lesson reminders, lesson summaries and account balances. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for assistance.
Sharing
Mobile phone numbers and text messaging consent are never shared, sold, rented or transferred to any third party, affiliate, or lead generation service for marketing purposes.
Information is shared only with the service providers used to deliver lessons and communication, and only for that purpose. These are the scheduling and messaging software used to run the teaching practice, and Twilio, which delivers the text messages. Message text may be drafted with the assistance of an automated writing tool. These providers are bound to use the information only to provide their service.
How long it is kept
Student records are kept while the student is active and for two years afterwards, unless deletion is requested sooner.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing frankniebauer9@gmail.com. You may stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
Students under 18
Contact details for students under 18 are provided by a parent or guardian, and messages about those lessons are sent to the parent or guardian.
Changes
Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a new date.
