The foundation a young singer builds in their first months of coaching shapes everything that follows. We make sure that foundation is solid, enjoyable, and built to last — with coaches who genuinely love working with kids and teens.

We work with young singers at every stage — from kids picking up a microphone for the first time to teens preparing for competitive auditions.
Ages 8–12. We meet young singers exactly where they are — building confidence, basic technique, and most importantly, a genuine love for singing that stays with them for life.
Lessons are designed around their attention span, learning style, and what actually makes singing fun for a kid — not a scaled-down version of adult lessons.
Ages 13–17. Teens who want to perform, audition for school musicals, compete, or just finally learn to sing properly. This is where we see the biggest transformations — motivated teens with good coaching make remarkable progress.
Many of our musical theater students and competition winners started as teens with zero experience.
Generally, if your child is 8 or older and genuinely interested — not just going along with what you want — they're ready. The desire to be there makes all the difference. We do a free discovery lesson for exactly this reason: to find out together if it's a good fit before anyone commits.
Honestly — it depends on the student. What we can control is making lessons engaging, rewarding, and genuinely fun. Our coaches are skilled at keeping younger singers motivated and showing them real progress every session. Students who feel themselves improving tend to keep coming back.
Yes — this is specifically why we match younger students with Nick and Frank. Nick has spent his adult life working with children through music. Frank is known for building confidence in singers who are just finding their voice. Neither will push too hard or discourage a developing young singer.
Vocal lessons build skills that compound over time — a strong foundation at 10 pays dividends at 16 when auditions matter. Beyond technique, young singers develop confidence, discipline, and a creative outlet that stays with them for life.

Every lesson is tailored to the student — but here's what most kids and teens focus on in their first months of coaching.
Many young singers don't know the difference between their speaking voice and their singing voice. This is where it all starts.
Pitch accuracy is a trainable skill. Ear training helps young singers hear what's right and consistently match it with their voice.
Good breathing technique is the foundation of everything. We build this early so it becomes natural — not something to think about.
Learning to sing freely and easily — without pushing or squeezing — protects young voices and makes everything sound better.
Singing in front of someone takes courage. We build that courage week by week in a safe, encouraging, nonjudgmental environment.
We apply everything to music the student actually cares about. Singing songs you love is the fastest path to real improvement.
Young singers don't outgrow Jackson Voice Studio. Students start with Nick or Frank, build a strong foundation, and as their voice develops they move into more advanced work — with Daniel when they're ready for that level.
The studio grows with the student. Whether your child sings for the joy of it or goes on to perform seriously, there's always a next step here.
